October 25-31, 2019 - Halloween Traditions

Our annual apple-picking day starts off with the customary petting zoo visit.

Ella tries on her Hallloween costume and plays the scary dragon,

...but she can't stay in character.

Back home, Ella checks out our handiwork (which almost injured Jill and Scott as they mounted it to the columns).

We're proud of its hugeness.

We really love it at night.

Trunk or Treat, put on by Forsyth County Schools.

On Halloween morning, Ella dresses up for school as a literary character, the main fairy character of the Artemis Fowl series.
(I love the red hair!)

Halloween night: getting ready for the real thing.

Stella, Sophia (in the back), Charlie, Ella, Audrey (and pumpkin), and Caitlyn.

At the Joyce's at the end of the night, checking out the haul and trading candies.

Ella's happy with her bounty.
