After some play-time, we put the girls to work.
(I don't think we've had an au pair help cook their welcome dinner before, but we think Kathy was excited to make ravioli from scratch.)

By the way, Ella discovered that Kathy loves stuffed animals, too, so they decided to trade stuffed animals for the night.
