September 26, 2018 - Iceland: Day 5: Reykjavik

We had a bit of a bust of a whale watching excursion. We saw some birds and porpoise, but hey, we got out on the North Atlantic.

We got cold enough that we needed to warm up with Kjötsúpa, Icelandic lamb stew.

Then we walk back towards the apartment and Hallgrímskirkja.

Like a lovely pipe organ, this is Iceland's second-tallest building.

Its famous organ has 5275 pipes.

The view from the top story is awesome at dusk.

We walk around the corner for dinner. Of the many interesting things, we start with roast whale

and end with horse tenderloin (which was one of the trip's highlights.

A parting shot as we pass the church again before going to bed.
