This year, we have one audacious Halloween plan...

We're going to build this!

...from scratch.
We spend weeks sketching designs, then picking a pattern, then painting multiple samples until we have a final plan.

Then we cut and start painting...

Two weeks into the build and we have something tangible to show.

Three weeks in and we test out the blacklight effect.
(Did I mention we used florescent paints?)

Just about done...

At 13' tall, it is rather imposing.

It starts to look fun as the sun sets.

After dark, it gets really wierd.
