December 27, 2016 - Christmas in Manhattan
Dec 27... just enough time for one last vacation in 2016 to end on a good note.
It has been a while since we've been for Christmas, so we head to Manhattan.
We stay way downtown and find a great spot for a dim sum lunch.
We head to Macy's.
Starting from the south, that's where we like to begin checking out the window displays.
They have an interactive display that features a pinball machine!
We walk up past the lions and continue the family tradition of climbing on things.
Saks has a great light show every 15 minutes, so we catch a couple.
Then we fight the crowd to see the big tree
and the ice skating below at Rockerfeller Center.
A few more windows as we walk around the baracades surrounding Trump Tower.
Next: we see a carriage and decide to make that the highlight of the evening (aside from dinner at Robert)...
So much fun!
It is a long ride, around the Central Park rink and back.
