Ella and I introduce Maria to the tradition of pumpkin carving.

Ella moves on to help Maria.

A couple of days later, Ella and I pick up some fancy donuts and head to her school.

We're treated to the morning routine of talking about the day of we week, month, season, etc.

Ella is a good little student

and always has her hand up.

We have breakfast together and carve the pumpkin we hollowed-out a few days before.
(Ella wanted a scary one. I think we made that happen.)

She goes back to playing with her friends as I head to work.
