The fourth day, we leave the hotel one last time, passing Ella's ecletic elephant.

We arrive at our boat fairly early and meet the Ayers upstairs for lunch.

As we sail away, a storm approaches us from behind. The lower wall - the thing that looks like a spacecraft from Independence Day - is blowing right-to-left as fast as we're going.

This line o' windmills will soon be generating some serious electricity!
(If New Orleans had these, perhaps the SuperDome would never lose power.)

Fortunately, we somehow outrun the storm, though it soon covers land with its rainy-haze.
