When Ella wakes up from her nap, Jill and I get her and wake her up slowly upstairs.
I ask Ella where Juani is from. She knows. Ecuador is the only country in South America that Ella can find.

we were so shocked that I really wasn't ready with the camera.
Juani kneeled down and asked for "un brazito" (a little hug) and Ella immediately ran to her.
Evidently, all the talking and Skyping helped.

She wanted to be held by mom since she hadn't seen us in a few days, but was still interested in Juani.

Juani brought gifts for everyone.
One of the highlights was an stuffed alpaca made with actual alpaca wool.
