August 25, 2011 - Boston, MA

Today starts off kinda like yesterday - in a beautiful park (this time the Public Gardens section of Boston Common) with Ella chasing water fowl.

She wanted them to eat bread out of her hand.

We walk across the park and across this bridge, where it is scenic (and sunny - sorry, Ella!).

Following the Freedom Trail, we walk through some really old cemetaries, where tombstones date back to the mid 1600s.

Teté in front of Constitution Hall.

Outside Faneuil Hall (where we ate a lobster pie and lobster rolls), Ella stops to smell the flowers.

After walking a few miles of trails and parks, we take a water taxi over to the Cabridge side.

Train, plane, bus, now boat. My girls have had a full trip!

all my girls...

Ella enjoys looking out across Boston Harbor.

Finally across, we stop for a picture with the Boston skyline as the backdrop.

Neat shot, I thought. I just hope Ella doesn't get poisoning from the lead paint.

She's a bit unsure of some of the places we put her for pictures, like this massive old anchor. Trust us, babe, we don't put your safety ahead of a photo op (or not very far ahead)...

Next up - we board and explore "Old Iron Sides."
