July 9-10, 2010 - Tornado Room

Lolly and Pop take care of Ella one Friday afternoon.

I don't know if it is the Weather Channel that knocked her out or what, but she's a passed-out baby.

That same night, Jimmy and Jodie moved their bed into our basement for storage while they find a place to live in Brooklyn, so Jill and Ella go check it out.

This is it - Jill and Ella in our finally-furnished tornado room.

There is a spot in the corner for her pack & play so she can get away from the storms, too, but so far, she's sleeping through the thunder...

We've saved all of our beachy decor just for this - because if you're in the basement because of a bad storm, you need some cheery surroundings.

Ella seems to dig it, but she pretty much likes everything but sweet potatoes.

She's even OK with sunglasses.
