June 10, 2010 - Ella the stairmaster

For the first time, a blue jay has started getting into our feeder. The big fellow barely fits!

And for the first time, Ella disccovered the stairs.
She loves it!
This is her on the 3rd step or so. She'll give up any minute now...

...or maybe she'll keep going.

Up to #5...

She's so proud of herself.
She made it up to #8 before she slipped.
We were right behind her, so nothing happened.
So, this time, it was really fun for us to watch in amazement as she huffed and puffed and climbed.
Soon, we'd start to get annoyed with having to chase her over and over as she gets in spells where that's all she wants to do...
