November 10, 2008 - Deer Valley

After cocktails, we said goodbye to Josh.
Sniff. That was sad - he was SUCH a great host!!
Jill and I went back to our room to relax before dinner.

The Christmas lights came up on Deer Valley.

It snowed that night, leaving a beautiful dusting on the town.

(Scenes from Stein's.)

This is our walk to breakfast...

Before we get to breakfast, we stop for a quick photo.

It is snowing so hard, you can't see the town.

The road below looks scary!
We have to go to the airport in a about two hours.

We kill a bit of time in the lodge.
So cool.

The Deer Valley resort isn't really open for ski season, but we did see some cross-country skiers and snowmobilers.

There are so many lifts, it all seems a bit confusing to me.

Some kind of berry tree.

One quick sort-of cheesy picture, then we head to the airport.
It was a great trip, thanks to Josh!
Thanks again, dude!
