May 7-10, 2008 - Around The World, The people of South Africa

As we transfer from Ngala in Timbavati to Exeter: River in Sabi Sands, we go through the South African countryside.

Children walk slowly home from school, some apparently for miles.

Even little kids walk right by the highway.

This mom came to pick up her kids.

They have a different way to carry groceries.
Oddly, it is similar to how they carry heavy items in India.

Approaching Sabi Sands now, we are miles from the camp and pass uniformed children walking home.

It must be a fairly big school.
