We come upon two female giraffes.

We watched them eat and watch us for a while.

Interesting thing is, they don't eat from the same tree for more than about 5 minutes...

The tree starts to secrete tannins that make the leaves bitter.

The giraffe move on.

Cool neck.

Cool tail.

May 9, Sabi Sands
We spot another large female (from an amazing distance, then drive closer).

We watch her walk for a while...

So graceful.
