December 25, 2007 - A Very Frenchy Christmas - Day 4

The upside-down tree-lined streets of Viviers.

Like a funky fairy tail gone wrong.

Being Christmas, the streets were basically deserted.

The alleyways through the village were quite uniquely French, though.

On top of a faraway hill is a statue of the virgin Mary.

Ben does his impression of a Do Not Enter sign.

The only thing open in the town is a small Catholic church.

Small, but impressive.

Looking down at the town from a hill.

cool story: if you don't pay your taxes, they throw rocks at your house from up here.
(Sucks to be your neighbor.)

Lovely little village.
