We head BACK "downtown" [anything inside the perimeter is downtown; anything outside is civil - but honestly, Jill & I are starting to like I.T.P. a little more) - for Evan's birthday brunch.
We arrive 5 minutes after it was scheduled to start. Since Jill and I haven't mastered "fashionably late," we see Evan completely out of fashion.
