May 13, 2006 - Italian Wedding Soup - Day 9

Jill and I wake up and Paris - and have to do like the Parisians (or the tourists, trying to be Parisians). We walk up Montmartre and have cappuccino and crêpes - ham/cheese/tomato and banana/nutella.

Lots of stairs on Montmartre.

Sacre Coeur again - this time from a little further down the hill.

The National Academy of Music.

In front of the St. Regis.

I.M. Pei's pyramid inside the Louvre.

Gargoyles abound on the side of Notre Dame.

The more famous view - from the front.

Inside Notre Dame.

From across the Seine.

The restaurants and shops of the Latin Quarter.

Back at the Champs de Mars and in front of the Eifel Tower in daylight.
We were going to go up, but we had taken our time everywhere else and needed to get back to the hotel to prepare for for the evening's plans.

Military School.

Jill and I get ready to enter the Bal du Moulin Rouge for the Saturday night dinner show.

No pictures from inside, since they commondeer cameras.

That's it... The next day we have some crepes and fly home...
What a trip!!
