5/16-26/04 - Winn-Dixie trip in Jacksonville, FL

Gotta love the peach water tower on I-75 in GA!

As soon as I got to Jacksonville, I had to see the St. Augustine Light. Note: it is NOT as close as one would think...

It sure is pretty though - like a red-head Hatteras...

The reason I was in JAX - Radiant's first Winn-Dixie fuel site, offering immediate $0.03/gallon discounts to anyone who scans their Customer Reward Card.

Even the Wayne pump technician got into the spirit.

It has a small kiosk - about 4'x3', not counting the counters, but we fit a load of people in there!

A view of Alltel Stadium from about 1/2 mile from my hotel.

A view up the St. John's River and the Landing.

Quaint town square [or triangle] in San Marco (just south of Jacksonville).

Random scuplture on the square.

Passing the National Forest on the way out of town.

I got to meet Bridget, Brendan, and Kelsey on the way home. They were headed south, having finally moved out of their Smyrna, GA house.
